I don’t understand all the optimism in this thread.

I’m reading today that deaths have climbed 40% in the past two weeks (Johns Hopkins data).

Deaths today reflect the new cases that developed a few weeks back, when cases were peaking.

Since then, new cases began to drop, and are now starting to plunge, like a typical Delta Wave - fast on the way up, and fast on the way down.

The new weekly chart due out tomorrow will reflect the more steeply accelerating drop. This last week has really been significant.
