Perhaps, but if so, not for long. The law will be watching all transfers from any account associated with him, the parents, or his lawyer. I don't see how he can long-term support himself abroad without living deeply in the shadows. He doesn't seem like a self-supporting go-getter.

His parents sold a house and a condo recently (before all this) and the current house was on the market. The question is if they put the money in a traceable bank account or under the mattress.
