YouTube is an amazing resource for do-it-yourself home projects.

Among other things, I've repaired a dead control panel on a remote controlled optical telescope, and have repaired a non working solid state linear amplifier, repaired cell phones, replaced cell phone batteries which were said to be non-replaceable, etc. I would have never attempted these types of repairs without video tutorials.

we attempted to remove my cracked lap top screen...knew a new screen would not be that much and there were many videos....

well my husband got it unglues to a point...he went to remove the screen and there still remained a white surface behind it....he had only removed part of the screen....the computer guy said he's never seen that done without shattering the screen in a zillon pieces....lol....

we didn't save any money and infact repaired that computer and bought a good refurbished one as well....
