I’m sticking with my guess the FBI search did not locate BL’s camping gear. They made quick tracks to the shed in the back yard. That and the garage are prime locations to store camping gear.

Maybe the Mustang’s electronics/gps/whatever showed the vehicle drove further than the Myakkahatchee entrance to the reserve. We can hope...

The FBI and police ramped up the search after finding her body. My guess is they have a lot of info.

The Laundrie home is very close to Sumter Blvd., where the license plate camera picked up BL arriving into North Port Sept. 1. Very possible it also identified the Mustang’s travels to/from Carlton Reserve. Sumter Blvd. is the route they would take.

Well now....Hmmmm. And the police took the mustang. Actually, that puzzles me. What could possibly be in his car?

So it was a relatively flat area, ruling out a shove or slip off a cliff. But with the water there, they’ll check her lungs for drowning. More likely now this was not “accidental”.

I think they took the Mustang for the electronics travel data. It may also be able to tell when different people drive the vehicle based on driving behavior patterns. Like an airplane’s flight data recorder.

Thanks. I hadn’t thought of that. My old 98 doesn’t have a “black box”.

LOL—a ‘98 vehicle may allow you to get away with burying the bodies. We have one too.

Amazing find. There is more...
NPS Ranger Melissa Hulls:
“I honestly haven’t looked at my body camera footage for that
night. It’s hard to think about now because I feel like I could've
said more to help her,” she said. “It’s hard not to second-guess
myself, and wish I said more, or wish I had found the right
words to make her believe that she deserved more.” Deseret News

What if he didn’t kill her but left her and Gabby died from exposure or animals? That remains a possibility, and the autopsy might reveal more that either confirms that, or excludes that.
Of course, if that is the case, it would mean that Laundrie would not be a criminal, but would still be considered a horrible boyfriend, if he indeed took her van, and left her to battle the elements by herself.

After looking at the photo, I can guess the cause of death...
Blunt force trauma. (by a rock)
