Sorry, but that is NOT the serology antibody test needed to test for immunity resulting from recovery from previous infection.

The serology tests require a blood draw and sophisticated machine analysis.

That test is actually the PCR test for current infection, that has been widely misused to track new infections, with a large percentage of false positives.

And the statistics related to that test are main fodder for the fear mongering propaganda used to justify mask and vaccine mandates.

Please don't be fooled!

Out here in mexifornia, native-born Curative was used a lot for PCR. Their PCR problem was false negatives but they pivoted and changed to the Abbott Labs 3-way test that caused a bit of confusion a month or so ago. I haven’t done a deep dive on who used what and who were more false postive, or who else is going to use Abbott, just know a little about Curative.

here’s the fda notice about false negatives:
https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices/safety-communications/risk-false-results-curative-sars-cov-2-test-covid-19-fda-safety-communication

and their notice of the new 3-in-one Abbot Test:
“Curative to Offer the Abbott Alinity™ m Resp-4-Plex* and Sars-Cov-2* Assay”

https://blog.curative.com/press/curative-expands-testing-options-for-covid-19-flu-and-rsv-across-nationwide/

sorry I couldn’t be of more help with the test you’re lookng for

I think you may be missing an extremely important distinction between Serology testing and PCR testing.

The two are completely unrelated, except for the disease being tested for.
Each looks for an entirely different set of facts.

The PCR tests you refer to simply look for the actual current presence of the Virus particles, to determine if the person is infected at the present time. They tell you exactly NOTHING about immunity.

The serology tests I'm discussing say NOTHING about the virus itself, and don't even look for the virus because unless the person is currently infected they wont be there.

What they do look for is antibodies (organisms that search for and kill other cells that have evidence of being infected by a particular virus). These tests are designed to determine if a person has immunity by measuring the level of those antibodies (which actually look nothing like any virus)

There is as yet no standard antibody assay for humoral immunity to SARS CoV 2, and protection is probably from T cells anyway.

You say "There is as yet no standard antibody assay for humoral immunity to SARS CoV 2, and protection is probably from T cells anyway."

Sorry, but your statement is just not correct

This is a link to my post #32 above, which provides considerable information on available tests. The specific test for antibodies resulting from previous infection and recovery from Covid-19 provided by LabCorp is test number 164068 (SARS-CoV-2 Antibodies, Nucleocapsid* 164068)

I am very familiar with the Labcorp test.

What I said was, there is no STANDARD test. By all means, get the Labcorp test - but don’t rely on the result in a matter of self-protection.

I don't understand your point about "STANDARD" and I have no idea why that might be important.

I routinely get many tests every year to monitor and track my health issues. NONE of them are identified as "standard" but all are well defined in terms of exactly what the test is and how reliable it is. (and all of that information is available through careful research)

The (SARS-CoV-2 Antibodies, Nucleocapsid* 164068) from LabCorp fully meets the same "standard" as it is precisely defined in terms of exactly what the test is, how it's done, and how reliable it is. (note, it is very reliable - research and look it up yourself)
