I knew a couple where the wife always posted how much she loved her husband all over social media constantly, posting pics of food she made daily, etc. She was cheating on her husband with everybody, doing drugs and their kids aren’t his kids.

I think her constant social media crap got on his nerves. She took video one too many times and he snapped.
They called off the engagement because they were going on the trip and were not currently planning the wedding. The trip superseded the wedding but they still referred to each other as engaged. Evidently they just weren’t actively planning the wedding but still felt engaged.
The stopped in a store on their trip and the owner of the store said, “ “They seemed happy and when they left, she hollered back from the door that they were engaged and then I said congratulations,”.

I believe her mom more than this store owner who cannot even remember what day they came into her store.

According to that thinking she would not have gone on this trip though.
