Fox news reports: Cruz slams Biden's 'unconstitutional' vaccine mandate: 'They want to change the topic from Afghanistan'... "The vaccine mandate is going to be struck down in court. They know that," he continued. "But the president is defying the law because he wanted the press to start defending him and stop talking about the disasters in Afghanistan. CNN reports: Advisers to the US Food and Drug Administration on Friday greenlighted recommending emergency use authorization of a booster dose of Pfizer's vaccine six months after full vaccination for people 65 and older and those at high risk of severe illness from the virus. The US Center for Disease Control and Prevention is meeting next week with its vaccine advisers, and the agency determines the final approval for the shots.
theDenverChannel.com reports: Colorado will open four large community vaccination sites as health officials anticipate increased demand for the COVID-19 vaccine amid employer-mandates. The sites will begin operations Monday and three of the four sites are located in the Denver metro area.

MSN reports: Vaccination rates in New Hampshire stagnate over last 3 months... since July, the percentage of those fully vaccinated has only crept up by 1.7%. That stagnation is similar for first doses administered. That rate pales in comparison to the number of vaccinations from March through June when the number of people fully vaccinated increased by more than 40%.

Since Monday, September 13, when the schools opened, 105 students and 113 staffers have tested positive for covid.
There have been 58 full classroom closures and 86 partial classroom closures, and 24 staffers have had to quarantine.
Now an entire public school has had to close, PS 79 in East Harlem: 19 staff members were found to be infected, and 45 people are quarantined. All the cases were among staff. The children are back to remote learning until September 28.
