We definitely saw that when the vaccines were initially in limited supply, and lots of folks not yet authorized, got “creative” to jump the line.
I’d be surprised if no one was jumping the line for boosters.
I talked with a woman in her eighties today, who was trying to get a Moderna shot as a booster to her two Pfizers, just yesterday. Not authorized, but she got an appointment, and only got kicked back at the last minute, when the needle was already out on the table.
Isn’t everyone who has been vaccinated in a database that clinics, etc., can easily access?
When I got my shots I had to provide photo ID.
Granted, non “Real ID” drivers’ licenses can be forged, but, depending on the state, if caught one can be looking at hefty fines and substantial prison time.
