Gandi made it work against a GB that had a free press.
It would not have worked against the USSR, Nazi Germany or Communist China.

Britain was also on the ropes financially, having won a World War at monumental cost.

Too many people either are ignorant of this fact, or choose to ignore it. Fact is, peaceful civil disobedience only works when your opponent has Christian, or Christianesque morals and values. When the State, or the cult of personality is the basis of you morals and values crushing dissent is easy. Histories killing fields are full of peace protesters.

Even though I may agree with you on this, I still think you are a tool for the fear porn you peddled daily and deserve derision from all.

The comments are all over the place on this one. To touch on a few topics others have:

1. First off, who is this guy? Anyone ever heard of him before? I found his Linked In profile. It seems like he ran for New South Wales Senate as a Conservative, and lost in 2018. Previously he did some sort of business consulting and is a motivational speaker.

2. What is the Australia One Party? He claims to head a political party: well anyone can start their own political party and have few to no followers and make that claim. Do they control any seats in the Australian parliament? In one of the territorial parliaments? I don't see any indication that the party exists in any meaningful way. At best it's a start-up that hasn't gained traction. At worst it's all in his mind.

3. The only sign he leads anything might be his 6,000 followers on LinkedIn or his YouTube video (which was linked by the OP) which has 4,500 odd views. But by social media standards that's pretty minor. That's "X-22 report" kind of numbers. ("Let's Game It Out" a gaming video has 1.3 million hits, shows what a high-impact viral video looks like).

4. The content is full of the foreboding Q-style we have all come to know. 'Dark things will be revealed shortly' 'The powers that be are against us, and will suppress us' - etc. But, in the grand tradition it's all shadows and inference, nothing what-so-ever is spelled out.

5. I'm left wondering why this is here, and not on the Q-anon thread. I note the OP is the owner of the Q-anon thread, so she is certainly able to post it there if she wants to. How is this different from the latest "Praying Medic" or "Neon Revolt" post (other then the guy's dubious claims that he's leading a serious political party?)

6. As others have pointed out non-violent resistance sometimes work, but sometimes doesn't. It's success depends on the conscience of those you are appealing to. Mid 20th Century America was wooed by MLK's appeal to their conscience: it worked. But totalitarians don't care. Look at the Hong Kong freedom movement. You don't hear much from them lately, probably because they are all in jail.

7. The condition of the Jan. 6 protesters says to me, that at least here in America, we're unlikely to accomplish anything by appealing to the conscience of the Leftist ruling class. They seem more like committed communists everywhere (from Mao to Chavez) who simply do not care about the condition of their "enemies".

8. I don't see any proof for the claim that there are tens of thousands of UN Troops here just ready to go at the first sign of trouble. I seriously doubt that's true. The Biden regime had no trouble getting 40,000 National Guard to D.C. to put down the "insurrection", which was a joke. But, the guards came from all 50 States, so it was perhaps useful as a loyalty test. If next "Biden" needed to subdue a wayward State he could presumably count on the National Guard again to answer his call. I'm sure that the Left is smart enough to have purged right-wing types from the command structure of the N.G.

9. Despite that: if the Biden Regime wants the Army, in violation of Possie Comitatus to act in the USA it's clear that the leadership is all with him, and will do so.

10. Therefore, I don't think the U.N. really figures into things, and as I said, as usual no proof or evidence in support of the extraordinary claim that the U.N. is likely to send troops to the USA is offered.

11. Despite all that, who cares about the U.N. You act like they are some fearsome force. I say "bring 'em on". Real red-blooded Americans would love the chance to FIGHT U.N. invaders. Like a lot of my friends, I've been waiting for that opportunity since the original "Red Dawn" was released in 1984. Hell even the remake was 10 years ago at this point! As Big John McCarthy says "Let's get it on".

Cheers!

Well, Gandhi has proven that he's more than willing to use nukes.
