A woman who regrets her abortions tells her story. She had had two abortions with the same man and got pregnant again:
“… My husband and I were having problems… This time I wanted to have my baby. He told me no, it was better to abort. We scheduled an appointment and I still was trying to convince him to let me keep the baby. He told me it would be better not to have it.
I entered the room so they could prepare my cervix to contract. I would go home and come back the next day. They did an ultrasound and discovered I had twins. I asked for a moment to speak to my husband. I found him outside. I sat down beside him and begged him to let me keep the babies. He convinced me we could not afford them. I went back inside and killed my twins.
Less than a year later, I was divorced and my ex-husband and his girlfriend were expecting a baby…
I have paid the price dearly and even though God has forgiven me I still struggle with a life sentence of guilt… Please know that the simple and quick solution is usually not always the right one. This quick fix will haunt you till you die….I murdered four of my babies!”

Metmom has described a strong scriptural basis for her views in posting number 38. It is not “feminist” or “woke” in nature nor does she appear to be “twisting” scripture according to some pre-biased anti male view.
The Bible does place strong onus on both males and females and both have their roles in marital relationships. The woman in the post story was no Abigail but the husband was definitely Nabal.
I suspect you really would have hated Abigail in 2 Samuel 25.

***Not on this thread, and certainly not on the thread I keyed up on her for doing so previously. At best she comes up with WEAK scriptural basis and when challenged with other scriptures, her ego gets in the way and it won’t allow her to admit she is wrong.
It is not “feminist” or “woke” in nature
***It sure is. You’re just asserting without evidence.
nor does she appear to be “twisting” scripture according to some pre-biased anti male view.
***That was precisely what she was doing and she couldn’t back up her viewpoint.
The Bible does place strong onus on both males and females
***So now, in the absence of evidence to back her up, you assert a similar statement on her behalf. A less assertive position than she took. I’m not taking the bait.
and both have their roles in marital relationships.
***Again, I’m not taking the bait.
The woman in the post story was no Abigail but the husband was definitely Nabal.
***Now you’re trying to bring her previous [uncited] position around to this current story. In your haste to come to her side and her aid, you neglect that she doesn’t say this. So I’ll wait for her to say it as further evidence of her anti-male feminist viewpoint.
I suspect you really would have hated Abigail in 2 Samuel 25.
***I suspect you’d come to the side to defend a person who’s demonstrably wrong just because you know them.
