I don’t understand why people name their beasts after women, so my Black Hills Gold & Satin Black 2017 Road King is named “The Gold King”. He’s got power to spare. So far I’ve done a ride down to the lower 48 & back to Alaska, and several in-state rides.
It’s my daily driver when it’s warm enough, & have taken camping several times. He is a brawny, heavy beast that I smile at every day. I tell everyone it’s my retirement bike. I hope to have it until retirement and until I can’t ride anymore.
Well, “Blue” is a Unisex name. In fact, my pastor at the biker Church where I was Music minister (in Florida) was nick-named “Blue” (RIP). My bike is named “Blue”, and since i am female, so is she. We are like best girlfriends, or, maybe, sisters.
Two of our deacons were named “Spider” and “Gonzo”. We were an unusual church, but solid Evangelicals, Theology-wise.
