The primary purpose of the “investigations” was to keep Trump supporters complacent, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they were also covering up any evidence they accidentally found.

Well, here’s hoping Durham has more than that. Good grief! 2 years and millions of tax dollars.
Lead investigators and special prosecutors who are policing the body politic should only be assigned if they have some illness expected to end their life in 12 to 18 months. They get all the funding up front accounted for each month, and whatever they don’t spend by the time they deliver a complete report and referrals for indictment, they get to keep.
Probably the very intent of this "investigation" was to run out the statue of limitations....
