Sussmann’s a known major player, who has been discussed here for years as one of the key connections between Hillary’s campaign and the FBI miscreants in getting the FISA warrant request issued. His name was recognized immediately. He’s not at the very top, but he’s up there.

He was at the center of coordinating the leaks to the media and to the FBI so that they could each use the other as a basis for ‘independent corroboration.’
He was as well a main part of the ‘DNC server hack’ misinformation campaign.
I also noted that despite his being substantial in this episode, the matter has been delayed long enough that it largely moots the rest of the investigation.
You then ranted and made accusations about something I tangentially agreed with and had not disputed.
So again, the issue is not that he is a little fish - as you claim - it is that this has been so severely slow-rolled that he will likely be the only one even potentially called to account.
You are correct- unless this guy organized and paid the $8 million of campaign money ALL BY HIMSELF for the ‘fake dossier’, then there are bigger fish that organized the conspiracy.
Otherwise he would have had nothing to give to the FBI.
