Whether Durham comes up with anything or not, one thing I’ve learned during the past four years is never to give a statement to the FBI. If the FBI wants to interview you tell them you want an attorney present and a video tape running. It protects both parties. The practice of the FBI interviewing people and the agent writing a summary of the meeting which can be used to indict someone is a gross infringement on liberty.

This practice Is just a license for the FBI to lie. One of the witnesses in the case against the convicted gymnastics doctor testified yesterday that the FBI did not report what she has told them at all. Perhaps such a sympathetic and non-political person could be the catalyst for getting this travesty of justice changed.
