May I ask: WHY do you eat them, if they are slimy and don’t have much taste?

I wouldn't say it taste good, and it's super sticky. It's pungent.

But even if it you didn't like the taste, it makes you feel good, and, at least for me, I run/hike faster after I eat it, not to mention other health benefits.

The amount of Vitamin K2-MK7 in a small plastic serving is somewhere north of 20,000 Functional Units of nattokinase (expensive supplement) AND more than 500 mcg of Vitamin K2-MK7 (another expensive supplement).

Aside from the complex carb calories, it's one of the beat foods for its unique benefits in the world.

Oyster mushrooms and kelp are probably the next most useful functional foods.
