I record important conversations too, especially in my line of work. A good number of cases, it becomes a legal or civil issue and you need all the ammo you can get to win cases. It is what it is.
Yep, definitely record them during any conversation regarding being subjected to termination for this issue.

Depends on what state they’re in; some places you need the other party’s permission to record a conversation.
