No, it significantly reduces risk of reinfection. But only after you endure the risks of initial infection - which has killed over 4 million worldwide, and caused more widespread suffering, expense and disability. Natural immunity is pretty effective, but not safe.

Vaccination (as opposed to being unvaccinated) greatly reduces the risks of death or hospitalization. It is pretty effective against severe disease, hospitalization and death from COVID - but much safer than natural infection from COVID.

The disparity between natural immunity and vaccination is greatest in terms of infection, but the difference is much less marked in terms of hospitalization and death. That is likely because natural infection (like nasal vaccines) develop IgE-based immune reaction in the nasal mucosa, that better resists initial colonization from the Delta variant (this Israeli study was during their Delta wave). When COVID gets into the bloodstream the immune response from vaccines is more on par with that from natural infection.

It is also of note that asymptomatic or very mild natural infections produce significantly weaker immune responses than do severe infections.
