Newsweek reports: Texas Reporting 'Second-Shot Hesitancy' as Nearly 2M Skipped Last COVID Vaccine Dose. According to the Texas Department of State Health Services, 1.89 million people have not returned to receive their second dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, as of September 6. Of those 1.89 million people, 11 percent, or more than 1 million people, are now more than 90 days past the due date for their second dose.
CBS News reports: Judge blocks New York from imposing vaccine mandate on medical workers. Judge David Hurd in Utica issued the order after 17 health professionals, including doctors and nurses, claimed in a lawsuit Monday that their rights were violated with a vaccine mandate that disallowed the (religious) exemptions (aborted fetus cell lines in their testing, development or production). The judge gave New York state until Sept. 22 to respond.
UPI reports: Study: Moderna COVID-19 immunity lasts 6 months. Immunity from the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine lasts at least six months, and there is no indication that fully vaccinated people will need a booster shot, a small study published Tuesday by Science found. The vaccine also appears to produce long-lasting protection against the coronavirus in people of all ages, including those 70 and older who are at higher risk for serious illness, the data showed. "The immune memory was stable, and that was impressive," co-author Shane Crotty (of the La Jolla Institute) said in a press release. "That's a good indicator of the durability" of both the Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines. The findings are based on an analysis of 35 people enrolled in early clinical trials of the vaccine, who received a low-dose version that is equivalent to one-quarter of the 100-microgram dose now given, the researchers said... In addition, the researchers found that the Moderna vaccine spurs an adaptive immune response to the virus that is nearly identical to the natural response to infection. It also appears to boost the immune response created by the common cold, which also is caused by a coronavirus, further strengthening protection, according to the researchers.

(Reuters) - The United States is pushing global leaders to endorse what it calls ambitious targets for ending the COVID-19 pandemic, including ensuring 70% of the world's population is vaccinated against the virus by the 2022 (sic), according to a draft U.S. document viewed by Reuters on Tuesday. The three-page outline is addressed to countries, international organizations, and private sector groups invited to a virtual COVID-19 summit planned by the United States on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly beginning this week. The document also asks countries with "relevant capabilities" to donate a billion additional vaccine doses and expedite delivery of 2 billion doses already committed.
Yahoo News reports; Anti-vaccination Pastor Bob Enyart, a self-proclaimed "religious fanatic" and long-time talk show host in Denver, has died from COVID-19, his podcast and radio co-host Fred Williams said Monday in a Facebook post. He was 62.
Reuters reports: Indian study finds big drop in COVID antibodies within four months of vaccination. Waning antibodies do not necessarily mean that immunised people lose their ability to counter the disease, as the body's memory cells may still kick in to offer substantial protection, said the director of a state-run institute that did the study... The Indian study, published in the Research Square pre-print platform but yet to be peer reviewed, is one of the first such done in the country involving its main two vaccines - Covishield, a licensed version of the AstraZeneca shot, and domestically developed Covaxin.

With such a large sample size, people who have delayed the second dose for 2-3 months but ultimately get the second dose hopefully data is collected to study how such a large spacing affects long-term protection.

According to the CDC, one is only considered “fully vaccinated” for a 3 month period 2 WEEKS AFTER their 2nd shot.
That’s how they get to hospitals FULL of the “UNvaccinated”
If you are suffering from a vaccine injury in the hospital up to 2 weeks after your shot (most occur in 72 hrs), then you are unvaccinated.
If you are hospitalized from ADE or other longer term issues following the 3 months, then you are again listed as an UNvaccinated case.
