$500,000 death benefit, for subway workers, and folks wonder why all things in NYC cost ridiculous amounts.
If I was the benevolent dictator, the averages for all benefits for all public service workers, at any level of government, would be no greater than the median benefit the people they serve can get in the private sector.
That would mean the average benefit for all public service workers would be right in the middle, neither the highest nor the lowest, compared to what those whom they serve can get in the private sector.
The communists are still on a roll...
No end in sight...
NY and NJ etc aka also known as the democrat party have blocked HCQ and ivermectin that would cure people. Now they want to punish the survivors!!1
Agreed. Is there one? Or are you talking about the mRNA shot that they're passing around and calling a vaccine? There is a difference.
I mean there is very little likelihood of dying from this disease. Get another policy.
I sure didn’t have such great death benefits available to my family. Fortunately, I managed to stay alive, which is even better as far as I am concerned.
Good point! (Until insurance companies start asking if clients are valued, or not)
## Totally irresponsible to die from covid if you can give yourself 900% better odds by taking a vaccine. But I imagine this tiny bit of fiscal responsibility will be shut down by the anti-vax crowd as somehow empowering their members to die, but die rich.
Keep up the fear porn bub, Maybe you’ll finally convince someone to join you in the insanity.
Stupid spell check: valued=vaxxed
Look at the stats for covid deaths of working age people and tell me the vaccine isn’t working. That policy would statistically not have to pay out at all. Yeah, a few vaccinated deaths of the very old or very sick, but hopefully those aren’t still working.
I think most everyone on this forum is agreed that this is becoming much more about coercion and far less about public health.
