What about cocaine and malt liquor?

I am a cigar fanatic as well—healthy as an ox.

Pure coincidence, I am sure!

Well, I do follow mine up with Scotch, so maybe it’s the Scotch!

Early Woody Allen movies were funny, at least to me.

They started nicotine clinical trials back in April 2020 and found it intriguing as well.

I smoked longer than you are alive! I switched over to vaping 3 or 4 years ago, although I still ‘sneak’ a real cigarette once in awhile. Vaping has strong anti bacterial/viral effects without all the damage that the tar in cigarettes give you. Research Propylene glycol. The British beg their cigarette smokers to switch over to vaping. 95% safer according to their long term studies. All provable with a little scouting around.

My favorite old Woody Allen was “Love and Death”.

My favorite scene—the Jewish Russian farmer holds a tuft of grass in his hand and says “My land, my land!”

Woody Allen was a seriously twisted dude—no question—but his dark humor was a part of that.

Ya know the French reported that smokers appeared to have immunity in early spring of 2020. My family scoffed at this because I smoke. Not to mention my golfer and biker buddies. I really hope this pans out. He who laughs last, laughs best.

‘They say “cigarette smoke” but wonder if vape smoke is the equivalent for this.’

If the (alleged) protective effect is due to nicotine, then those vapor products would likely work. On the other hand, if the effect is due to some chemical byproduct of tobacco combustion, then those nicotine vapor products (as well as patches and gum) wouldn’t help.

I have sort of the same humor. Years of being slapped in the face by reality is probably the root cause.

Nobody gets it, especially the co-irkers. They accept it as long as their toys work.

“Spectrophotometric determination of ammonia levels in tobacco fillers of and sidestream smoke from different cigarette brands in Japan”

Ammonia levels of different brands.

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29703135/

Pachinko parlors had special air filters that I know of
from an old investment. And would a good place for second
hand smoke studies in my opinion.

The reading I have done on this says it is the nicotine, not the byproducts.

There have been a lot of hotly debated studies on positive affects of nicotine—hard to separate the facts from the moralizing...

From what I’ve read, it’s the propylene glycol in the vaping fluid that kills covid.

HCQ worked in a similar fashion but ferried zinc into the cells, in addition to blocking angiotensin converting enzyme 2 sites to the virus.

Just spotted on the side of a pack of cigs:

“The surgeon general has determined that although smoking may prevent covid, this is no reason not get the jab or mask up and obey all mandates.”
