Minor point; I found it somewhat odd that on this big college campus, the only students interviewed about this shocking event were young men.
Most everyone that walks through that area are male students because Bryant Hall is between fraternity houses and the buildings where most students go to class.
I learned this very well during my time in Tuscaloosa.

In that case, the reporter should have gone to the Student Union building, if they have one. Maybe such a building was too far into the campus to bring all the TV equipment.
