Sold a Marlin Camp Carbine 9mm I had bought for the wife early in our marriage back in the 80s, as protection for when I was gone on business. She said it was too heavy (she was a waif of a girl at the time) so I got her a S&W 4” .38 special revolver instead (which I also regret selling).
Still have the wife though.
Further reinforcement of my approach...
The Westchester, N.Y., newspaper that created a national stir in the wake of the Sandy Hook massacre by publishing an interactive map showing where the owners of pistol permits lived, is suing a county government that has refused to give out information about who in the area has such a permit.Oct 4, 2013
New York paper that published gun-owners map sues county ... https://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Justice/2013/1004/New-York-paper-that-published-gun-owners-map-sues-county-for-names#:~:text=The%20Westchester%2C%20N.Y.%2C%20newspaper%20that,area%20has%20such%20a%20permit.
S&W Model 32 in 38 S&W (Not 38 Special). So small I could palm it and walk through a room with it. Could only get Lead Round Nose ammo, no stopping power. Shot like it had a 10 inch barrel instead of inch and a half.
Charles Daly 16ga side by side made by JP Sauer circa 1906. In great shape, very clean, original bores (no honing), weighed 5lb 12oz. A very plain Sauer with ‘Made In Prussia’ stamps on the action flats.
our county took immediate action when that crap started
i signed a notice here in the county clerks office that my info was not to be released for ANY non-governmental purposes
it was drawn-up by the county and witnessed by the county clerk
I have literally owned hundreds of gun in my life. Top four I regret letting go:
1) Mint .310 Greener Cadet out of India, like new.
2) Win. Pre-war M-70 30-06 SN X6069, Canjar single set trigger, Griffin & Howe dual side lever low rings, Lyman 4X scope, five into .477 at 100 yrds.
3) Excellent ++ SMLE NO.3 MK V 1922-1924 trials rifle.
4) Springfield M1922 II b, sn 9X6. Excellent +, Accuracy was phenomenal. 10 shots into .326 inch at 50 yards.
I cry.
All of them, but my HK-93 most. Last time I listened to my wife!
Libtards will soon find ways around that. You’re on a list. Do you trust the guvmint to protect your rights?
Belgian origin Brownung / FN 9mm Hi Power
Ruger GP100, stainless 6” barrel with worked trigger.
I feel your pain. My Python didn’t have interchangeable barrels, and it wasn’t mint, but I miss that more than any other gun I’ve sold.
National Match M1A1, Ruger Police Service Six .357, BushMaster M-4 .556, Colt 1911 .45…… the list goes on…. Sigh….
S&W 460V
Awesome handgun. A $40 trigger job on a GP-100 and it is ever bit as good as a S&W 686 but I much prefer the feel of the Ruger in my hand. It is a very manly gun. However I prefer the 4” barrel but that’s just nitpicking.
Ooooo... Sounds impressive. I bet it can nail gnats at 100yds.
That is exactly what mine was. There wasn’t a blemish on it.
i’m on the list anyway, but i trust our CC, and she is NEVER going to give up anything without a fight, we are NOT a RAT county and a carry permit is the default issue
i also carry a “Purchase Permit” that to the best of my knowledge all other counties forbid the practice of
the Sheriffs office even said in the paper they will NOT be checking mag-counts for the stooopid magazine bill
this isn’t city life
