Every so often, Americans could use a reminder that a great deal of the world still lives this way, day after day, year after year. I think this is similar to large areas of India and Pakistan too. Ethiopia and Yemen, maybe the same thing there too.

Yep. Too much of that city is smile coated. This keeps being brought to Mayor London Breed’s attention, but she doesn’t seem to pay much attention. “I don’t have to pay attention to that yucky stuff. I’m female, I’m one 1/8th black, and I down with ‘the struggle’. So there!”
