500? And Hillary was the pick of the litter???
I am pretty much convinced that Bill chose Hillary for a number of solid reasons:
1. He thought she was his intellectual equal
2. In many ways, she had the discipline he lacked
3. She was vicious, especially toward her opponents
4. He knew he could fool around on her and she would largely turn a blind eye as sex (with men) was not her passion. And, if caught, he knew she would defend him to the hilt
In many ways, she was his perfect match because it was always more of an alliance than a real marriage.
