“United Airlines told its staff on Wednesday that those who are granted religious exemptions from getting vaccinated against the coronavirus will be placed on a temporary unpaid leave, CNBC reported.”
Oops! The United Airlines morons just opened a multi-billion dollar suit against themselves for religious discrimination.
BTW, a friend just flew in on United. The entire plane was empty of passengers except for my friend and three other passengers.
Would be kind of cool to have a plane almost to yourself.
Our production films in Ga. It was my producer friend and 3 of his staff at the back cabin..and they were the only ones there, heading back to L.A. Just happened 2 weeks ago. The business seats were full so coach seats which sometimes happen. He saved money AND can fully recline the seat back and forward which is extremely rare.
Probably depends on where the flights are coming from or going to.
One of our female relatives finished a 5 day 12-12 icu shift at the east coast hospital and returned to her NYC apartment to find no heart/ac and impure water. She and a full plane from Philly came to SFO on Sunday.
A DIL had flown to Denver for her annual summer visit with a relative there. Both flights going to Denver and back to Sacramento were full.
A husband and wife neighbors of the above DIL, flew back from their summer in Seattle this past Sunday, and the plane was half full. It landed in SFO.
What is in shortage are the buses and vans to and from the airports.

That is the first thing I thought. They are being persecuted for religious beliefs and there's no way United can get away with. United is apparently just giving a knee jerk response. Hope it costs them big.
