From the outside, her father might have been too restrictive in how she used her money, but he didn’t seem to be financially benefitting too far outside what is normal.

I think so as well. Just because she is a great entertainer, she may not be as good at managing her finances. Nothing to do with her mentality, some people can’t figure out finances. IMO
I suspect her lawyers will go after the Dad for financial impropriety, and her lawyers will rip her off way more than her Dad might have.
