What method are you using to learn Finnish?
Duolingo has Finnish.
I am all in at the moment.
I used duolingo to get started, but I have signed up for zoom language courses, I hire a tutor for about 4 hours per week. I ask her questions and have had her make me recordings. I listen to a lot of simple you tube videos (childrens stuff) and then pipe the audio into google translate so I get real time translations as I listen. Lots and lots of listening.
I have some readers with english translations. I read those to my tutor and she helps me understand the deeper grammar structures and meanings as I read them.
I have some grammar books which I read a bit hre and a bit there. I bought a Finnish/English Bible but that is too deep for me but I do read some of it.
I do not do much talking yet because I am more interested in “understanding” the language as opposed to “speaking” the language. I do practice speaking and repeating things I hear, but understanding comes first for me.
