So, there is INDUCTIVE proof that he was not a fraudster, since fraud was alleged in the lawsuit and unproven. In addition, he was never referred to criminal authorities for fraud [an even more difficult standard to meet] and so one can say he’s proven to be not a fraudster — but I prefer to think he was, like Gomez in Addams Family, “acquitted”.
But I look at him as simply a tinkerer. He didn’t want to submit his findings for peer review because they really woulda been stolen. He came up with his own metric to measure his progress: “In Mercato Veritas”. There is nothing in mercato, so there is no veritas.
