Because I don't believe pretense, trickery, etc. demonstrating that I am just pretending to be a sheep instead of a real bull helps anybody, including me.
I agree with Grandpa Drudge on this, but I admit various things have crossed my mind.
At work, I wear my mask properly because of my line of work.
If I go to a store and they mandate a mask inside, I choose not to go inside.
But if I do something where I don’t have a choice (such as going on a plane) I wear the mask so absurdly poorly worn that it attracts attention. And if I can exploit a rule such as having the mask off while eating, I ate something nearly the entire flight. It might have taken me a minute to eat a single peanut, that kind of thing. (regrettably, it made my flight companion somewhat uncomfortable due to the attention I am sure it drew)
I feel that resistance to these things is a just and patriotic option. I have no problem if someone uses a falsified vaccine passport. The system should be flooded with them, IMO since it is Unconstitutional.
I did consider taking a paper-hole puncher, and punching so many holes in a mask to see if anyone said anything, but decided I haven’t reached that point yet. If I do and someone calls me out on it, I am going to point at someone who has a bandana over their face and say “How is this worse than that?”
You get the idea.
I have no issue with people who feel the need to wear a mask. I would actually be more impressed if they wore a full N95 mask all the time, but if they want to put a bandana, gauze, or simple disposable mask, or two, or three, that is their business. And I feel exactly the same about vaccines.
But I am hopping and steaming mad that these mandates are being pushed due to a virus like this one.
