RE: What is a dsk appearance ticket?
“In New York City, a desk appearance ticket is an order to appear in the New York City Criminal Court for an arraignment. A person who receives a DAT has been arrested.” (Wikipedia)
My satirical guess, the liberal judge in De Blasio’s workers’ paradise just looks down from the bench and says “Now you get outta here you rascal and I won’t want to see you getting into any kind of trouble again, y’hear?”
Person is supposed to show up later to appear to face consequences. Unless he skips town. Goes by another name or spelling. Watches news items say “the witness did not appear after all and the evidence was then lost by mishandling. No further appearance required.”
Thanks for the info.
