“Fully vaccinated” when you’re 87 years old certainly does not mean the shots, for sure, triggered robust immunity. And this sad case is an example where the shots did not confer robust immunity.
This is something to be aware of if you have elderly or immunodeficiency members in your family.
It’s almost a decade more than most American males average life span.
Some vaccines may be more efficacious than others and in general they may not be administered for optimum impact under current protocols. (IE: spacing out the doses to a wider gap than 3-4 weeks may confer stronger and longer term antibodies and maximize the impact of the primer dose.)
I also think flu shot and pneumonia shot in particular may need to be explored as part of the arsenal.
But no, the powers that be are stuck on one thing only. Everything else is “horse dewormer.” 🙄
So who are the shots for again?
