Actually I forgot the article was about Korea and looked at the death rate for the US, which has a higher obesity rate than Korea. Death rate for Korea is much better at 0.89%, according to Worldometers (2,321 deaths/ 260,403 total cases).

Given that the anti-vaxxers expect me to clutch my pearls over vaccine-related myocarditis, which happens in 0.001% of vaccinated people, I don't think you're in any position to lecture anyone else about "emotion base hysteria". I am far more likely to die in a car accident than from vaccine-related myocarditis, but that doesn't stop me from driving.
