I spoke to Dr. Hoffe on the phone and he said, after speaking to the town’s Fire Marshall, there was some indecision about whether the fire started at the clinic and spread to the town, or whether it started somewhere else and spread to his clinic. The bottom line is they wanted him silenced and to be damaged financially to limit his ability to speak out and now he is. It’s hard to be an activist when you’re spending all your time trying to find ways to put food on the table for your 5 minor children. He’s reduced to seeing patients by video conference but many of his patients are indigenous and have limited means and little technology themselves. They’re trying to remove his medical license for creating vaccine hesitancy and his case has been taken up by Canada’s Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms.
