The attorney for the Capitol rioter known as “QAnon Shaman” said that his client will plead guilty to charges stemming from the deadly insurrection, HuffPost reported.
Attorney Albert Watkins said that Jacob Chansley, also known as QAnon Shaman, has reached a plea deal with prosecutors in his case.
Chansley is facing multiple federal charges, including a felony count of obstructing an official proceeding and a felony charge of civil disorder, according to HuffPost.
Watkins said that Chansely doesn’t want to be associated with QAnon anymore, saying his client experienced “pain, depression, solitary confinement,” among other mental health issues after participating in the insurrection.
“It is imperative that patience and compassion be accorded those, who like Mr. Chansley, were non-violent, peaceful and possessed of genuine mental health issues which rendered them more vulnerable to the propaganda of the day but who, at the end of day, seek to be accountable for their actions.,” Watkins said.
This comes as hundreds have been arrested in connection to the Capitol riot that left five people dead.
Chansley, who spent several months in jail and had to go through a mental health evaluation, is scheduled to have his plea hearing Friday, HuffPost noted.
I hope this guy gets out soon, goes home and rests quietly for a while. I hear his nerves are shot, not surprisingly.
If his Mom or any friends are thinking about it, someone should copywrite that costume and the Jan 6th Shaman name asap. The costume was striking and unforgettable. Some might even say iconic. If someone is going to be making money from that image, it may as well be him.

This is an outright lie. The only one dead due to the riot was an unarmed protestor who was shot without warning. The other claimed deaths were medical issues that occur in any large outdoor crowd and certainly were never accounted for with respect to the deadly BLM riots.

It would not surprise me if this guy was actually an FBI informant. There's a video of him dancing at a climate change protest. I doubt he actually spent anytime in jail. Watch for his sentencing. If he gets off with a light jail sentence compared to the others, then it will be obvious that he was a plant.
Time served. Probation.

After his arrest I watched about 3 minutes of one of his hour long videos. It was pure hype. He just flashed 'Illuminati' and other such images and rambled incoherently about Q.
He was not a true believer. He saw a market and wanted to be an e-celeb. All his appearances were self-promotion.
He got caught in the net because he was playing a game and didn't see the net. He is guilty of being naive and foolishly trying to cash in on Q.

If not riots, per se, protests. Antifa/Leftard protests. He is pictured in the capital standing with a group of known antifas talking to a cop.
He was made the face of kooky Q Trump supporters as a false flag, which was exactly what the fake 'insurrection' was.
This 'guilty' plea deal is necessary to keep up the charade.
He’d rather be in prison than lose his internet.
I remember photos of him in some of the other cities as well. Ones that had legit protests going on and he was knee deep in them on the side of ANTIFA.
Simple as that.
Anybody that believes he has anything to do with Q or MAGAor Trump is a sucker of the 1st magnitude.
