I have an unvaccinated woman friend is who has been fighting for her life against COVID these past few days. She's also mid 70's, but diabetic, with pacemaker and a good bit overweight.
I asked her last night if she regrets not having taken the vaccine. I was surprised at how quickly she replied "no".

Our hospitals worst days were Dec. 2020 at just 65 patients. Averages was 3 patients...we are today at 24. But who knows what criteria they’re using anymore to admit or not since that two is all over the map.
Data today cannot be at all trusted as I see it.
What were the treatments prescribed for these patients before they were hospitalized?

“Following an initial analysis that revealed the overwhelming number of COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations, and deaths in the first two weeks of June 2021 were among residents who were not fully vaccinated, DHEC discovered similar results when looking at provisional data from July 16-Aug. 15. Results of this analysis are below.
Among the 21,990 reported cases where we were able to determine vaccine status, 18,810 (85.5%) of cases were considered not fully vaccinated.
Among the 1,088 reported cases who were hospitalized with COVID and where we were able to determine vaccine status, 779 (71.6%) were considered not fully vaccinated.
Among the 384 reported deaths from COVID where vaccine status was able to be determined, 301 (78.4%) were considered not fully vaccinated.

No answers for anybody? I think we all know what that means.
I don’t care about answers. ICU doctors don’t know all the people they treat and don’t see each of them get a vaccine when they do.
The ones around here seem to live in their own little world where what happens in their ICUs is the only reality there is.

What is your theory on why your area (with no hard stats and only anonymous reports) is so different from Israel, U.K., Iceland, etc (which do report hard stats)?
