I went through menopause but my endocrine levels pre-COVID were still rock solid. Happily married for 26 years and still crazy in love with my husband. No issues on that front.
Post-COVID, it was a wasteland. I looked and felt 20 years older overnight. It was like someone threw a switch and the lights went out.
There was no tapering off. My reserve well of androgens, also used to create natural steriods, had been tapped out to fight COVID. The hormones helped substantially.
