this was obvious after the cruise and military ship data came in.
The cruise ship had only 20% catching COVID which suggests 80% percent of the people on that ship were immune.
My wife had COVID six months ago. We made no effort to quarantine from each other and lived as a normal husband and wife. I never got it. A few days ago I got the test for the COVID antibodies and that came back negative. So why did I not get it from my wife? Was I just lucky or do I have some sort of pre-existing immunity that does not show up in the COVID antibody test?
We have friends who are a family of 4. Dad gets sick a couple of days before they are leaving their vacation to drive home. They drive 12 hours together with the widows up and AC on. He tests positive for Covid but none of the other family members do. How does that happen?
