Does anyone ever run against Lindsey??? I’m sure McConnell is keeping a firm hand on that...we really need to get rid of McConnell and him hand picked RINOs.
2014 had a big field which squandered the best opportunity to take him out.
State Sen. Lee Bright could have been a good replacement, but the Bush League Republicans flooded the field.
I don’t know if he even faced a primary in 2020.
I think Lindsey shores up tge gop primary with a huge gang. He then wins a plurality. Then he walks in in the Election Day. SC won’t put a dem in that seat

Seems to me Linda is protected at all costs. Makes you wonder.....well, not really.
South Carolina having open primaries is the problem. During the primaries, several people, some much better than linda, will run opposing linda. But on primary voting day the RATS cross over in droves and vote for linda. linda wins the primary and, since SC is a strong red state, goes on the win the election.
The SC legislature is beginning to grow some cojones and is making noise about closing the primaries.
Can't happen soon enough for me and lots of other Republican voters. But until the law is changed, linda has a job for life and she knows it.
PS: FWIW, Aiken County, SC GOP has censored linda, not that it will do any good.
