“Sauza credits the vaccine with keeping her infection manageable”
This seems to be the preferred fallback position on the vaccines. They don’t keep people from getting the virus, and they don’t keep people from giving the virus to others, BUT, we are told they keep the illness from becoming more serious. That’s moving the goalposts. Is there any data that supports this idea, or just anecdotes?
Vaccines, cases, and deaths all seem to be going up at the same time. An argument can possibly still made that the vaccines are relatively safe. Effective? Doesn’t look like it.
Aren’t the odds vastly in favor of the infection being manageable, in any case?
People could credit their Zodiacal sign as easily as any shot they had.
The ones who don’t credit anything are on ventilators and not long for this world.
You cannot, clearly, give ANY credit to this “vaccination” process for controlling the spread of this virus. In fact, it appears to be doing the opposite.
My wife and I got the Wuhan after having both shots. So far her case has been more severe than mine, she was very weak for the first two days. My case has been like a head cold with a notable loss of the sense of smell. I can stick my nose in a jar of VapoRub and smell nothing. We are both in our 70s.
So the vaccines did not prevent us from getting the China virus or passing on to another couple (also fully vaccinated). But all four of us appear to be responding to treatment at home.
