Glad that he made it. How is he doing now? It sounds like a harrowing story. Is he still paying his rent?
I know older two women who both ended up in the hospital from pneumonia in the last year. Both were deathly afraid of Covid and wore masks even when they were alone in their own homes. One of them died and the other had severe lung damage from being on a ventilator. The doctor of the one who survived told her that she should not wear masks anymore.
After all the hoopla I was shocked to find out that neither of them actually tested positive for Covid. And this happened early enough in the “pandemic” that neither was vaccinated. Of course the survivor got vaccinated as soon as she was able to and ended up back in the hospital a week after her second shot. But she survived that as well.

He was in the hospital for 2-3 days. Said it felt like his worst hangover x 10. Yes he is still paying rent.
I spoke to another 70+ year old man in a auto repair shop waiting room. He had covid last year and he had a minor fever for a day and minor caough and sniffles. This guy was very overweight while my renter is thin and fit.
Amazing how it affects everyone differently.
