If masks work why are we still having to use them after one and a half years?

Masks, as with lockdowns and "distancing", do nothing at all to slow/stop/prevent/protect against (your choice) transmission of a respiratory virus ... any respiratory virus. Any medical professional who says masks work has damaged severely their credibility to dispense medical advice ... that is, they're lying to you.
