Yep, with a notorious mutator such as coronavirus, even if you had a perfect vaccine, you could never administer it fast enough. And even if you did the virus would simply sit in the animal reservoir until it had mutated enough to defeat your golden vaccine. We are chasing our tails, the question is, how many adverse reactions, up to and including death, will we allow before we learn that which we already knew?
