The lower threshold for Ivermectin toxicity is 50 times normal dose. The upper threshold is 250 times normal dose! Consider a 200 pound man at .2mg/kg would dose at approximately 18mg for prophylactic use. There are approximately 6 doses per tube for a 200 pound person. To reach the LOWER threshold for toxicity a person would have to ingest at minimum over EIGHT of the 6.08g (1.87%) tubes and possibly as many as FORTY tubes before there were adverse effects.
