For a car, wouldn’t the best engine be the one with most horsepower per pound? I would think a tank engine would be low on the list.

Wouldn’t it be better used in a pickup?

Your answer is yes, but in this case they were looking for the image value of this huge motor.

But you can go 300 mph with a Toyota six banger

Torque is more important... Just put taller gearing under it, it won’t phase it.
