What we won't know for quite some time is whether getting COVID, even without symptoms, or getting a COVID vaccine will lead to long-term health issues.
What we *do* know is we're never going to punish those responsible for the funding, development, and release of this biological weapon.
As screwed up as the covid morbidity statistics are (80-90% false assignation according to the article), the “daily cases” numbers are even less reliable.
There are three reasons for this:
First, the tests are far from conclusive - the percent of both false positives and false negatives result in an unacceptable margin of error. Yet, the tests are reported as though they were bulletproof.
Second, changes in the daily cases numbers are driven in large part by the daily number of people tested. If twice as many people are tested today as yesterday, the number of cases might be double, even if there is no increase in positives as a percent of those tested. Yet, the statistic is simply reported as a nominal figure without qualification.
Third, the testing is far from random. People get tested for various reasons: they have symptoms, they were hospitalized, they may have been exposed, or they may be required to be tested. This is far from a randomized selection, so it tells us nothing about the true rate of spreading of the infection in the general population.
ALL of these statistical failings could easily be mitigated by proper statistical sampling, or by correcting other obvious flaws in how the data is collected, interpreted and reported.
Yet they are NOT mitigated - the grossly erroneous and misleading reporting of covid statistics continues - a year-and-a-half later.
That tells us one thing for sure: the powers-to-be do not want the public to get clear answers. They seem happy to keep public fears at a certain level. Why? I am pretty sure we know the answer:
