All I know is that for a month I watched my in laws both die from corona, they had some other issues that were controlled and they lived a very active and strong life. they didn’t die from other things they died because of corona virus. so the wording that people like to say- they died with the virus not from the virus is mindboggling to me! when you have someone you love die from the virus you understand, until then you say stupid things!

I’m no doctor but I slept at a Holiday Inn last year. If they were hospitalized prior to Covid -19 symptoms were recorded, they likely died from Sepsis. Sepsis kills 270,000 patients a year in US hospitals and that number was down last year from years before. My husband had sepsis following chemo therapy. He had been hospitalized. He was on a respirator. He went into remission with great medical treatment and lived a full life for two more years.
