We have a somewhat similar situation in our neighborhood.

After the election, we had one house that kept of their Trump/Pence yard sign until about June of this year.

During that time a Retired Navy Veteran who is black moved in across the street, the two houses face each other.

In the first move, the black family put up a “Black National Flag” that is red, green, and black...then the black family put up a sign about being BLM supporters and erected a big banner in their front yard celebrating “Juneteenth Day”....

In the latest move, the white family has put up a Blue Flag with a single white star in the middle....I immediately recognized what the flag was....The flag is known as a “Bonnie Blue” flag which is a confederate battle flag.....look it up if you want to see what it looks like..

It will be interesting to see where this goes...

We have to stop the "one complaint is enough" to cancel something.
I'd rather have, for example, a conference of Native Americans decide whether Redskins, Chiefs, Indians or Braves are offensive names or not.

So now the police can arrest you for a “hate crime” for an object that someone calls racist. In other words, anything a White says or does, or doesn’t say or doesn’t do, can now be branded racist.

Some of the flags have been swapped in/out..

Right now the Black Family has the Black National Flag and a small BLM flag by their mailbox.

The White family as a big American Flag and a similar sized Bonnie Blue Confederate Flag...

Needless to say they aren’t inviting each other over for a beer and a football game.
