Tell me, was New Orleans below sea level when it was founded? That it is below sea level today is a testament to the huge sacrifice it has been forced to make for the good of the rest of the nation. I could explain but judgemental jerks like you wouldn't care or understand. They are people just like you and me and this is their home. You have a home. I'm sure it has its faults. Laplace isn’t in New Orleans at all. It’s 25 miles west. And all the older neighborhoods in New Orleans are above sea level. You really need to quit running your mouth about this.
