How was the attendance? Did any of the usual ‘counter-protesters’ show up?

Pawlowski is great, if I’d know he was going to be there, I would have made the drive.

There were about 100 in attendance. Unfortunately, the presenters were told that vendors at a nearby flea market complained about the noise, so the speakers were turned off. With a stiff sea breeze blowing, it was difficult to hear the speakers as they tried to talk without sound equipment. Pawlowski was also scheduled to speak about five hours after the event began, which was too long for me to wait. Frankly, this event doesn't seem to have been well-planned.

Other than a religious fanatic who wandered in, interrupting one of the speakers, and then wandered out, there was no trouble.

I have heard--but I haven't seen it confirmed--that Pawlowski is scheduled to speak at Victory Park on Paloma in East Pasadena at noon today. Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend.
