Senator Rand Paul, a Kentucky Republican, argued that "hatred for Trump" is hindering research into Ivermectin as a treatment for COVID-19.
Some conservatives and supporters of former President Donald Trump have promoted Ivermectin, a drug primarily used to deworm livestock such as horses and cows, as a viable treatment for COVID-19. Scientific research has not shown the drug to be effective in treating the novel coronavirus, and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has warned Americans not to use the drug for COVID-19 infections.
But Paul told constituents in Kentucky on Friday that opposition to Ivermectin was related to pushback towards the former president.

I believe that there is indeed institutional and political tampering. But there is also the problem that clinical trials cannot simulate real world use (prophylactic or immediate treatment). By the time someone gets Covid and is signed up for the study, days have been wasted and the patient is probably close to the inflammatory stage of Covid. Of course the results are then inconclusive...they waited to damn long to intervene.
very expensive...is it a scam?
My Walgreens filled it about six months ago. Maybe they changed. The Walgreens pharmacist would NOT fill my HCQ scrip without a confirmed diagnosis of COVID, though.
Sadly it’s par for the course. Started over 60 years ago when they attacked fat, and even with all the evidence now in, most can’t let that go.

Indeed the corruption of the medical industry has been ongoing for decades. Consider the average American is fatter and sicker then they were 20 or 30 years ago. 42% of all Americans are now clinically obese.
This is perhaps one of the most egregious examples…
“Sugar Research Foundation, known today as the Sugar Association, paid three Harvard scientists the equivalent of about $50,000 in today’s dollars to publish a 1967 review of research on sugar, fat and heart disease. The studies used in the review were handpicked by the sugar group, and the article, which was published in the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine, minimized the link between sugar and heart health and cast aspersions on the role of saturated fat.”

I posted the same link before I saw that you had posted it earlier in the thread. It really is an excellent little video. Any doubts about the history and efficacy of ivermectin are put to rest.
I think Walgreens made is a company wide policy. Either way, there are ways to get it filled.
The medical industry has always been profoundly dishonest. It's only because the dishonesty is now being manifested on a global scale that more people are beginning to notice.
Semi-anonymized Nurse Claire, via Anne Barnhardt, www.barnhardt.biz. Heard it initially from the nurse in question on a podcast about a week ago. Horrible if true, but the pharmaco-medical industry has almost lost all of its credibility, so what should we expect?
TDS and Big Pharma profits, along with maintaining a crisis to justify tyranny.

I got my and my husband’s scripts filled at Walgreens 2 days ago. The guy that checked me out said “this stuff really works”.
I guess I haven’t been, but it is sickening.
Truth
Great to hear. Did you get the whole protocol filled? (Zinc, antibiotic and steroid for the lungs if you are over 50)
I looked at the site you mentioned, and found nothing about "Nurse Claire". I did find this, which is fully supportive of Ivermectin:

What am I missing?
There’s plenty of established data … it’s works.
Hydrochloriquine part deux
Don’t forget the $$$$$$$$
You’re not gonna get ivermectin in the US without a prescription.
You can easily obtain it without a prescription from a UK pharmacy.
There is a revolving door between pharmaceuticals and the FDA. The result is vaccines/gene therapies are getting fast tracked while other treatments are getting slow walked. If it turns out the vaccines don't measure up to expected standards while other treatments deliver, the conflicts of interest and malpractice is on a war crime scale. Give the number of deaths involved, I am not being glib about this. There are enormous conflict of interests and malpractice issues that are not part of the conversation.
